MARTINI THREE
PORSCHE 924 MARTINI PROJECTS.
Other pictures are available for other Martini restorations in the Restoration Projects Tab

DUE TO COVID PROBLEMS  WORK HAS BEEN HALTED WITH THIS PROJECT  TEMPORARILY October 2021

Autograph Specialist Cars Ltd  located in Wakefield West Yorkshire are currently undergoing restoration of three genuine  Porsche 924 Martini cars.

All cars are UK registered right-hand drive with matching numbers of Chassis /Vin and engine numbers. Great care is being taken to make the cars as original as possible such as the seats front and rear are being reupholstered with genuine Martini cloth and original Martini red carpet fitted. Each car will have correct Martini decals displayed and any other distinguishing features carefully applied.

Every car has been completely stripped with the engines out and split and any refurbishment necessary, if required piston rings, bearings and any internal sleeving work all carried out by specialist engineers. Gearboxes and torque tubes inspected and refreshed along with suspension and braking system.

Each body has been carefully inspected, all glass removed and any rot or possibility of future rot has been attended to ,carefully precision welded and prepared for painting. New clutches will be fitted and all original parts will be cleaned and refurbished or powder coated and re fitted.

The 924 Martini in the UK is an extremely rare car with only 100 Right hand drives ever made, there are only believed to be 2 cars on the road in the UK.

This is a unique opportunity to own a part of Porsche history each car being over 40 years old, now Tax and MOT exempt but if required an MOT will be completed.

Any visit to the premises will be welcome to view the work in progress and could be a chance for collectors to commission their own highly desirable and very rare Martini cars.

Due to the current situation in 2020 work is being concentrated on one car which will be the flagship car and will stand any inspection.

Many photographs are available of all cars and different stages of preparation.

Each restoration is different stages of completion, the most current is due to be returned from the paint specialists to our workshop very early January 2021 after being painted with Politzei Weiss (Police White) with a paint code of L93Z. Then the long haul of rebuilding the car will begin and hopefully will be completed before the summer of 2022

It is impossible at this time to state a price for any of these cars and can only be determined on completion and level of work completed in each case
